Job description

Auria is a leading global supplier of highly-engineered systems for automotive flooring, acoustical, thermal, aerodynamic and other fiber-based solutions for gas and electric vehicles. With U.S.-based operational headquarters in Southfield, Michigan, Auria operates 16 manufacturing, 9 technical and 5 JV locations across 10 countries and employs approximately 3,900 people worldwide.
We are currently searching for 3rd Shift Extrusion Roll Up Operator to join our team at our Albemarle Plant in Albemarle, North Carolina.

What you will do:
  • Responsible for leading material between style change
  • Must be willing to cross train on all extrusion positions
  • Must be willing to ensure rolls are staged properly and centered as they enter the "J" box.
  • Must have strong problem-solving skills as related to machinery run conditions.
  • Must be able to work with and instruct team members on daily task responsibilities.
  • Must be able to assist with film/scrim change.
  • Must be able to scan film/scrim tickets and proper roll good tickets for production runs.
  • Must be able to use mechanical tools on a regular basis.
  • Must be able to lift heavy loads on a consistent basis. Must be able to move and assist in moving extremely heavy equipment such as dies, screws, etc.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, and crawl. Must be able to stand the entire shift.
  • Perform routine cleaning and organizing throughout shift.
  • Other duties as assigned.
