Monday-Friday from 8AM-4:30PM


The Broadloom Inspection table roll up operator reports to the Broadloom Inspection Table supervisor. The inspection table roll up operator is responsible for wrapping and labeling each roll that is ran across the table.

  • Safety. The table roll up operator must keep safety in mind at all times. The roll up operator works in close proximity to moving parts of the inspection table. The roll up operators must obey all safety guides. Hands (or any other body part) should not be placed in or on any part of the roll up or the roll up table. If at anytime the roll up operator has a question about safety they should speak with the inspection table supervisor immediately. If at anytime there is an issue at the roll up end of the table that cannot be seen from the inspectors position the roll up operator should notify the operator and inspector both verbally and physically by raising their hand and saying, “Time Out”.
  • Quality Control. The roll up operator is responsible for placing the correct size core into the roll up. The roll up operator is responsible for ensuring that all rolls are rolled straight and tight. If the roll up operator sees that a roll is not rolled properly then they should have the roll sent back to the front of the table to be re rolled. Once the roll has been rolled up the roll up operator must properly and securely wrap the roll. The roll up operator is responsible for making sure that the correct roll tag or shipping label is affixed to the correct roll.
  • Capacity. The inspection table is an important part of our broadloom business. The inspection table crew is responsible for checking all rolls for quality and color accuracy and notifying the appropriate people if a quality issue is found.
  • Performing daily maintenance and cleaning. Daily maintenance on the machines includes (but not limited to) the following important tasks: Run / measure test roll to ensure that the table measuring device is accurate. Clean out the machine each day and report any issues to the Broadloom inspection table supervisor.
