Roll Handlers are workers responsible for managing, moving, and handling large rolls of materials, such as paper, fabric, plastic, or metal, in manufacturing or warehouse environments. They use specialized equipment, like forklifts or roll clamps, to safely transport and position these heavy rolls during production or storage. Their duties also include inspecting rolls for damage, maintaining records, and ensuring the smooth flow of materials within the facility. Roll Handlers play a crucial role in preventing material damage and ensuring efficient production processes.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a roll handler, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Roll Handler, you need physical strength, attention to detail, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and inventory management systems is often required. Reliability, teamwork, and effective communication are valuable soft skills that enhance workplace safety and efficiency. These skills ensure smooth material handling operations, minimize product damage, and support overall productivity in manufacturing or warehouse settings.
