Position Overview

Greystone Counseling Center is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis. This role will allow you to provide essential mental health support to clients facing a variety of challenges from the comfort of a remote work setting, all while being part of an innovative counseling team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments and intakes for new clients, identifying their unique needs and formulating tailored diagnostic evaluations.
  • Provide individualized counseling sessions using therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Person-Centered Therapy to help clients navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.
  • Facilitate virtual group therapy sessions, including support groups and psychoeducational workshops, creating a safe space for shared experiences and collective healing.
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans with clear, measurable goals and interventions, regularly updating these plans based on clientsโ€™ progress and feedback.
  • Address crisis situations proactively by providing immediate interventions, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating with emergency services when required to ensure client safety.
  • Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, training sessions, and relevant conferences to remain updated on the latest mental health trends and therapeutic techniques.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to deliver integrated care to clients, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.

Qualifications
