  • Maintain thorough and current clinical records in compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities and workshops to stay informed on the latest mental health trends and research.

In this role, you will work with a wide range of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your interventions will cater to diverse backgrounds and life experiences, emphasizing cultural competence and sensitivity. Additionally, you may work with groups in family therapy and couples therapy, addressing complex dynamics and promoting healthy communication.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Tennessee.
  • A minimum of three years of clinical counseling experience is essential, demonstrating a depth of knowledge and competence.
  • Familiarity with various therapeutic approaches, particularly family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse treatment, or trauma-informed care.
  • Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards guiding practice in mental health.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and related technology vital for client management and documentation.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working within community health settings or clinics.
  • Specialization or certification in specific therapeutic modalities, especially those related to family, couples, or trauma-informed therapy.
Compensation and Benefits
