Position Overview

Greystone Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team on a full-time remote basis. Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and observe intra-familial dynamics to identify areas of concern and opportunities for growth.
  • Engage with clients to discuss their experiences and help clarify perceptions of disruptions within their family structure.
  • Utilize environmental resources effectively to support clients through their therapeutic journey.
  • Explore the underlying factors contributing to dysfunction and develop strategies to address these issues.
  • Assist clients in processing grief, trauma, and other emotional challenges, providing a safe space for healing.
  • Advise families on stabilizing home and educational environments, tailoring strategies to individual needs.
  • Craft comprehensive reports for legal proceedings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to professional standards in expert testimony.
  • Deliver balanced insights and expert testimonies when called upon, contributing to community and legal frameworks.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals, couples, and families, addressing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and behavioral concerns. Our commitment to culturally congruent care means you will not only leverage your clinical skills but also respect and integrate clients' cultural backgrounds and experiences into the therapeutic process.

Qualifications
  • A master’s or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • A valid and current LMFT license in the state of Pennsylvania, with a commitment to maintaining licensure through continued education.
  • Completion of at least one year of supervised clinical experience post-graduation, meeting the requirements set forth by state regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide individual, couples, and family therapy using evidence-based techniques.
  • Effective assessment and diagnostic skills to identify and address a wide range of mental health and relationship issues.
  • Capacity to craft tailored treatment plans that resonate with clients, encompassing both individual and collective needs.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a community health setting or similar environment, particularly with diverse populations.
  • Familiarity with telehealth practices and technology for remote therapy delivery.
  • Expertise in handling complex cases that involve familial conflict or legal proceedings related to family dynamics.
Compensation and Benefits
