# Regional Sales EngineerHot JobLexington, KY - KY## OverviewPosition TypeFull Time## Description**Regional Sales Engineer**Location: Cincinnati, OhioReports to: General Manager**The Position:**Colesco is seeking a hunter minded Sales engineer to aggressively grow our sales in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and Missouri. This is a hands on, full cycle sales role focused on new account acquisition, reactivation of dormant accounts, and expansion of existing customers through cross selling.This role is designed for a self directed technical sales professional who thrives on prospecting, competitive conversions, and owning deals from initial contact through purchase order.**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**New Business Development & Territory Growth• Prospect and develop new accounts across the Midwest territory• Conduct cold calling, on site prospecting, and structured territory planning• Identify competitive valve, instrumentation and pump replacement opportunities• Call on end users, OEMs, contractors, system integrators and EPC firms.Account Reactivation & Expansion• Re engage inactive or underdeveloped accounts within the territory• Cross sell valves, instrumentation, pumps, and fluid control solutions into existing customers• Increase product penetration within multi site accounts• Identify retrofit, upgrade, and aftermarket opportunitiesSales Execution & Inside Sales Responsibilities• Prepare technical information and manage customer quotations and pricing• Own opportunities from quote through purchase order• Place orders directly with manufacturers and vendor partners• Coordinate lead times, submittals, and order follow up• Maintain CRM records, pipeline forecasts, and activity tracking**Role Structure:**• Approximately 50% outside sales (field work, plant visits, prospecting)• Approximately 50% inside sales execution (applications, quoting, order processing)• Expected travel: 2 to 3 days per week within the Midwest**Qualifications Include:**• 3+ years of industrial sales or business development experience• Proven success hunting new business and reactivating accounts• Experience in fluid control, industrial equipment, or process systems is preferred• Strong prospecting discipline and time management• Valid driver’s license**Preferred Qualifications:**• Experience with valves strongly preferred• Instrumentation, Pump or sanitary process equipment experience a plus• Background in industrial markets• CRM experience**Why would this role be exciting for me?*** Colesco is a profitable, thriving company that’s investing in growth.
