About the Role
BGCA is seeking a Relationship Manager, Foundation Account Relationships to support and steward a portfolio of strategic foundation partnerships that advance the organization's mission and priorities. This role sits at the intersection of relationship management, grant stewardship, project execution, and cross-functional collaboration.
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Foundation Account Relationships, the Relationship Manager will help lead the execution of complex grant deliverables, support foundation engagement and renewal efforts, and ensure seamless coordination across internal stakeholders and external partners.
This is an ideal opportunity for a relationship-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoys translating strategy into action. The ideal candidate brings strong project management discipline, donor stewardship experience, and the ability to build trusted partnerships across multiple functions and audiences.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do
Foundation Relationship Management & Stewardship
  • Support the management and stewardship of a portfolio of medium- to high-level foundation partnerships totaling $15M+ alongside the lead fundraiser and cross-functional partners
  • Serve as a key point of contact for foundation partners to ensure a high-quality experience, strong communication, and successful execution of grant commitments
  • Help create and implement customized stewardship plans that deepen relationships and expand opportunities for engagement
  • Support grant renewal efforts and annual fundraising goals, including coordinating proposal development and formal requests ranging from $1M-$3M annually

Grant & Deliverable Execution
  • Manage the execution of grant deliverables outlined within funding agreements and ensure commitments are completed accurately and on time
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment, accountability, and successful delivery of partnership outcomes
  • Support the administration of pass-through grants to local Club organizations, including agreements, kick-off meetings, reporting, financial monitoring, and deliverable tracking
  • Ensure all partnership activities, engagement touchpoints, and updates are accurately maintained within CRM systems

Project Management & Operational Excellence
  • Facilitate annual account planning processes, including project timelines, stewardship strategies, budgets, metrics, and activation plans
  • Monitor partnership budgets and financial performance while identifying risks, mitigation strategies, and opportunities for optimization
  • Track program metrics and analyze partnership performance to support reporting and strategic recommendations
  • Lead or support internal and external meetings, presentations, and briefings related to partnership execution and growth

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Storytelling
  • Partner with communications and marketing teams to identify storytelling opportunities that showcase grant impact across the Movement and philanthropic community
  • Build strong working relationships across BGCA departments to support strategic initiatives and successful project outcomes
  • Contribute to broader Resource Development team priorities and pipeline-building efforts that support organizational growth and sustainability

  • Experience managing complex projects and cross-functional partnerships with multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success supporting grant stewardship, donor reporting, and partnership execution
  • Strong understanding of grant compliance, budgeting, stewardship, and donor-centered fundraising practices
  • Experience working collaboratively across geographically dispersed or matrixed teams preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/database systems; Salesforce experience preferred

Compensation
The salary range for this role is $75,203 to $90,500. BGCA takes into consideration a combination of a candidate's education, training and experience, as well as the position's scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level.
