Job description

Quality Lab Technician Trainee

Grandeur Fasteners is looking for a motivated, people oriented individual to grow with our team. We offer competitive wages with excellent benefits including health insurance, life insurance, 401K retirement plan, and paid vacation/holidays. Wages will depend on experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Good organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
  2. Proficient in the use of micrometers, calipers and able to learn other measurement systems
  3. Manage and able to perform gage calibration, quality lab requirements and floor inspections
  4. Be able to interpret customer and process drawings and specifications as required
  5. Be able to address quality concerns and make informed decisions on what action needs to be taken
  6. Able to handle multiple tasks and take on other duties as required
  7. Professional and courteous with good judgement

Experience:

  1. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and data bases
  2. Knowledge of concepts and methodologies of quality assurance preferred
  3. Previous quality experience a plus
