Job description

Job Summary

The Senior Licensed Mental Health (MH) Clinician provides services to people who experience serious mental illness. This includes assessment, recovery focused treatment planning, group and individual training, and group and individual counseling, as well providing crisis intervention if necessary. May provide clinical quality review of other's work. Provides service coordination and/or linkage to Community_Services that meet the needs of the individual patient/consumer and engages in crisis prevention and management as necessary. May work in the hospital, outpatient clinic, or community settings, including support provided in the home, at work/school, or in shelters.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree in Counseling or Behavioral Sciences is required.
  • Two (2) years of experience with the SPMI and/or Additive Disease population, preferably in a full-time status, is required.
  • Active Georgia LCSW or LPC license is required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association is required.
