Essential Duties and Responsibilities
These two positions are assigned as teaching assistants for SPSY 667 (Academic Assessment - Fall) and SPSY 666 (Cognitive Theory and Assessment - Spring). Over time, we have established that GA's assigned to these courses can typically manage TA responsibilities for approximately 8-10 graduate students each while ensuring timely and high-quality student feedback. These TA's are responsible for grading assessment protocols and video-recorded assessment administrations, providing detailed formative and summative feedback, and meeting individually with students as needed to provide guidance and support. These positions require well-developed knowledge of the administration and scoring procedures for the specific measures covered in the course. The experience also offers valuable teaching and supervision experience for advanced graduate students in the school psychology program.
