Job Description

Supporting our manufacturing of air compressors. The Weld Tester will be responsible for evaluating the integrity and quality of welds in various materials and products to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications. This role involves conducting inspections, performing tests, and documenting results to help maintain the highest level of quality in our manufacturing processes.

Responsbilities

  • Will test and inspect pressurized tanks by submerging tanks in water tanks or filling the larger tanks with water and checking for leaks and defects.
  • Repetitive lifting of materials and product throughout the process up to 50 lbs.
  • Will be required to work at a steady pace to keep the welding line running smoothly, with no bottlenecks.
  • Will be required to operate air tools, hoists, hand tools, grinders, sanders, weld torch, etc.
  • Know and understand blueprints, learn how to identify welding defects, and use weld gauges.
  • Safety conscious, team player, quality-minded, good work habits, and attendance.
