Position Overview: Technical Sales Associate (TSA)
Are you passionate about technology, problem-solving, and building relationships? Power/mation offers an exciting opportunity through our paid 12-18 month Technical Sales Associate (TSA) Program designed to prepare you for a career in Outside Sales in the industrial automation field. You'll gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to innovative solutions that transform industries while working in different areas of our business. Start dates for this program are January 2026 or June 2026, which makes this an excellent opportunity for a December 2025 or May 2026 graduate to launch a career.ย

What You'll Experience as a Technical Sales Associate:

  • Typical Duties: You'll start in inside sales, providing customer support, preparing quotes, and learning the intricacies of industrial automation. You'll gain experience in our engineering department and fulfillment centers. Finally, you'll have opportunities to shadow successful outside sales representatives.
  • Sales Skill Development: You'll be trained in consultative selling, product knowledge, and strategic account development-equipping you with the expertise to transition into a successful career in Outside Sales.
