Position Summary

McMurry University seeks a dynamic, results-oriented Graduate Enrollment Professional to lead recruitment and marketing efforts for new and growing graduate programs, particularly in Business and Kinesiology.

This position plays a critical role in launching, growing, and sustaining high-demand graduate programs through strategic recruitment initiatives, corporate partnerships, and personalized student engagement. The successful candidate will combine relationship-building, marketing insight, and enrollment management expertise to drive measurable growth in graduate enrollment.

Primary Responsibilities

Graduate Recruitment & Enrollment Growth

  • Develop and execute a strategic recruitment plan to grow enrollment in graduate programs in Business and Kinesiology.
  • Identify, cultivate, and convert prospective students through proactive outreach (phone, email, virtual meetings, in-person events).
  • Represent the university at recruitment events, conferences, graduate fairs, and corporate sites.
  • Manage the full enrollment funnel from inquiry to matriculation.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective students to increase yield rates.

Corporate & Community Partnerships

  • Establish and grow partnerships with corporations, healthcare systems, school districts, athletic organizations, and regional employers.
  • Negotiate cohort agreements, tuition partnerships, and employer-sponsored enrollment opportunities.
  • Conduct on-site presentations and information sessions for corporate partners.
  • Collaborate with university leadership to create customized graduate pathways aligned with workforce needs.

Application & Admissions Management

  • Manage graduate applications from submission through admission decision.
  • Ensure timely collection and review of application materials.
  • Communicate admissions decisions and next steps clearly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the universitys CRM and student information system.

Marketing & Outreach

  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop targeted campaigns (digital, print, and event-based).
  • Promote graduate programs to current McMurry undergraduate students through classroom visits, events, and direct outreach.
  • Assist with developing recruitment materials and program messaging.
  • Support open houses, virtual information sessions, and campus visit programs.

Graduate Assistantship Support

  • Assist in administering the Graduate Assistant program.
  • Communicate opportunities and eligibility requirements to prospective and current students.
  • Coordinate with program directors on GA placements and tracking.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelors degree (Masters preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in recruitment, enrollment management, sales, marketing, or corporate partnership development.
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet enrollment, sales, or performance targets.
  • Willingness to travel regionally and occasionally out of state.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for recruitment events.

  • Experience in higher education graduate recruitment.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Slate, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
