Graduate Civil Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Civil Engineer to join a growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience working on infrastructure, land development, and transportation-related projects. The selected candidate will collaborate with experienced professionals and assist with design, analysis, and project coordination tasks while developing strong technical and professional skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with civil engineering design and analysis for projects including roadways, drainage systems, and site development.
  • Review and apply local, state, and federal engineering design standards to project work.
  • Prepare drawings, reports, and engineering calculations under senior engineer supervision.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to support project planning and development.
  • Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related engineering software for project design.
  • Support data collection, feasibility studies, and cost estimating efforts.
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable regulations, industry standards, and safety requirements.
  • Assist project teams with coordination and administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Experience with stormwater modeling software such as StormCAD, PondPack, HydroCAD, or similar tools.
  • Ability to prepare stormwater analysis reports.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Familiarity with local engineering codes and standards preferred.
