Civil Engineering Technician

Location: Lake Saint Louis, MO (On-site)

About the Company

One of our client is a well-established civil engineering, land surveying, and land planning firm headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. With 80+ years of industry experience, the firm is known for delivering high-quality, practical, and innovative solutions across a wide range of development projects.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Civil Engineering Technician to support civil engineering design and drafting efforts for ongoing and upcoming projects. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Lake Saint Louis, Missouri office. The technician will work closely with engineers and project teams to produce accurate construction documents and support project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with civil engineering design and land development projects

  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D

  • Develop grading plans, earthwork volume calculations, and street & sewer profiles

  • Support engineers with project coordination and documentation

  • Ensure drawings comply with project requirements, industry standards, and local regulations

  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet project schedules and deadlines

Required Qualifications
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with:

    • Grading plans

    • Earthwork volumes

    • Street and sewer profiles

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
