Job Description
The director will lead and direct the Civil Engineering Technician Program under limited supervision, including establishing program goals, operational procedures, and long-range work plans; managing program resources; and ensuring alignment with institutional, industry, and accreditation requirements.

Salary Range:
$28.26 - 41.43/Hour
Minimum Qualifications
  • Two full-time years of verified related paid occupational experience in civil engineering and/or land surveying filed, performing duties as a technician, engineer or surveyor. A Bachelor's degree may substitute for one year of experience; an Associate's degree may substitute for six months of experience. Degree must be in civil engineering technology, land surveying technology, or civil engineering.
  • One year of this work experience shall be within the last five years The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in Civil Engineering within the last five years.

Work Shift (Hours / Days of work)
This is a part-time (.5 FTE, 20 hours per week) position. Work hours are flexible within the department's standard operating hours of 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, Monday-Friday.
