Job description

PT Solutions works together with Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo to provide rehabilitation therapy services in order to best serve patients in the area.

Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant assists the Occupational Therapist in the practice of occupational therapy to include development deficits, activities of daily living work conditioning, range of motion, coordination, balance endurance, cognition, and exercise programs to restore function and increase strength.

Your Responsibilities as a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Inpatient Acute Care

  • Prepare equipment for treatment and assist an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patients
  • Establish strong relationships with each patient so that they have ability to exceed their functional goals
  • Demonstrate a positive connection with patient, fellow clinicians, and other team members 
  • Build and maintain relationships throughout the community

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved occupational therapist assistant program
  • State Licensure
  • Basic Life Support Certification via the American Heart Association

Pay Range

35.00 - 38.00 per hour

Any posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position
