Job description

Job Summary
We are hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Operators for immediate work on site development and utility projects. You will be responsible for operating a variety of equipment to perform tasks such as grading, trenching, backfilling, and earthmoving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate excavators, bulldozers, graders, compactors, and skid steers safely and efficiently
  • Read and follow grade stakes, blueprints, and laser/GPS layout
  • Support trenching and installation of storm, sewer, and water utilities
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance
  • Work closely with supervisors and laborers to meet production goals
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience operating heavy equipment in civil construction
  • Must have a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)
  • Strong understanding of site grading and working to elevations
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather
  • OSHA 10 or 30 preferred
  • GPS machine control experience is a plus

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime available
  • Occasional weekend or night work depending on project needs
