Grader Operator Jobs in Arizona (NOW HIRING)

Grader Lineperson:main tasks are making sure all cases processed through the grader are stacked properly for transport to the cooler, obtaining the correct amount of cartons as needed, and monitoring and ensuring adequate maintenance of the tape machine on the grader.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:(non-exclusive list)

• Able to safely transport product to various areas within the Complex, using a forklift or pallet jacks.
• Responsible for setting up case stacking line each morning.
• Responsible for stacking all processed cases onto the appropriate skids after they come off the grader.
• Responsible for situating inedible barrels in their proper place on the grader.
• Responsible for monitoring all cases after they are processed through the grader by the packer
• to ensure that they are sealed and labeled properly with adequate identification materials.
• Responsible for bringing up cartons from the carton room for the day's grader run, and brining up additional cartons to the grader throughout the day as needed.
• Responsible for maintenance on the tape machine and checking to make sure that it is sealing the case boxes properly throughout the day.
• Responsible for pulling full skids of eggs to the cooler as they are filled during that shift's grader run.
• Responsible for keeping an accurate inventory of rejects.
• Responsible for making sure that all trash and cardboard is properly baled and disposed of at then end of each shift.
• Responsible for assisting packers or candlers as directed by the grader manager.
• Responsible for stacking and moving egg cases, racks or skids in the most efficient and safe manner possible to reduce loss.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Forklift and/or Pallet Jack experience preferred.
• Capable of working weekend shifts and maintaining a flexible schedule.
• Physical ability to perform essential functions of the job. Ability to regularly lift up up to 50 lbs.
• Possess the ability to monitor all cases that are coming off the grader for being sealed and labeled properly.
• Ability to operate Rose Acre machinery (skid loaders etc.) in a safe manner that ensures the safety of not only the operator but also all employees around him.
• Ability to remain standing and/or walking for long periods of time on concrete floors.Ability to stoop, bend, climb, and lift frequently.
• Must posses the ability to use hands in a repetitive manner, standing in one place for extended periods of time and lifting heavy items high in the air repetitively.
• Willing to comply with all Rose Acre's safety, employment, and GMP policies including working in a 100% smoke-free environment.
• Ability to comply with the strictest standards for animal welfare and to report incidents of abuse, neglect, or breach of bio-security in order to preserve the health and welfare of our birds.

• Responsable del mantenimiento de la maquina de cinta adhesiva y de asegurarse de que la maquina esta sellando las cajas adecuadamente durante todo el dia.
• Responsable de transportar los huevos al refrigerador segun sea necesario.
• Responsable de mantener un inventario exacto del producto rechazado.
• Responsable de asegurar que toda la basura y los cartones son embalados adecuadamente y eliminados al final del turno.
  Responsable de ayudar a los empaquetadores o Candlers como lo indique el gerente del grader.
• Responsable de apilar y mover las cajas, bastidores, etc. en la forma mas eficiente y segura posible para reducir la perdida de inventario.

CALIFICACIONES MINIMAS:

• Debe tener al menos 18 anos de edad.
• Se prefiere experiencia usando Montacargas y / o Pallet Jacks.
• Capaz de trabajar turnos de fin de semana y mantener un horario flexible.
• La capacidad fisica para realizar las funciones esenciales del trabajo.
• Capacidad para levantar regularmente hasta 50 libras.
• Capacidad para permanecer de pie y / o caminar por largos periodos de tiempo en pisos de concreto.
• Capacidad para agacharse, doblarse, subir y levantar con frecuencia.
• Deben poseer la capacidad de utilizar las manos en forma repetitiva, para estar en sus pies en un solo lugar durante largos periodos de tiempo y para levantar objetos pesados repetidamente.
