Position Summary

We are looking for a passionate and solution-oriented Account Manager to be responsible for multiple client accounts. The Account Manager's responsibilities include maintaining a thorough knowledge of our business and offerings, strengthening client relationships, coordinating with internal teams to deliver on client expectations, and developing and implementing strategic plans to grow accounts, managing scopes and budgets, and ensuring the successful execution of integrated marketing programs.

What You'll Do

Client Relationship Management & Client Satisfaction

  • Act as the daily contact for assigned clients, managing communications and maintaining strong, trusted relationships.
  • Understand your clients' business goals and pain points, proactively identifying opportunities and solving challenges.
  • Champion a client-first mindset that consistently drives satisfaction and retention
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to ensure client needs are met on time, on brief, and on budget.
  • Provide ongoing support to the account team that will enhance their relationships with their day-to-day contacts.

  • Assist Account Leads in the development of annual account plans that meet revenue growth and profit margin targets for assigned clients.
  • Demonstrate in depth knowledge of DAC's product offerings, such as full-funnel media, search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), local SEO, reputation management, content strategy, and customer relationship management (CRM)
  • Remain knowledgeable about on-going program activities
    • DAC will provide support through proper industry and platform training as needed

Project Management & Execution

  • Manage internal aspects of project implementation including preparation of client engagement briefings and proposals, tracking client data, QA validation, and reporting of internal and external client activities and communications.
  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of large full-funnel media and SEO client programs, ensuring seamless execution across deliverables and timelines.
  • Ensure project requirements are documented.
  • Develop internal relationships with all delivery teams to ensure collaboration that delivers on set client objectives and goals.
  • Support Account Directors on larger programs with executional coordination, task management, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Track progress against KPIs, deliver regular status updates to clients and internal stakeholders, and maintain overall project health via the use of internal project management tools.

Scope & Budget Management

  • Manage and track scopes of work and change orders, ensuring all work is delivered within the agreed budget and timeline.
  • Effectively communicate scope implications to internal teams and clients, and negotiate updates or additions as needed.
  • Maintain clear documentation of deliverables and financial parameters across your programs.
  • Program Reporting
  • Prepare and present weekly, monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) for assigned accounts with cross-functional teams, translating data into actionable insights and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to contribute to QBRs on larger, more complex programs.

What You Bring

  • A creative, capable, agency-experienced professional who takes a wide range of account-level responsibilities in their stride, including defining short-term goals and long-term strategy, KPI monitoring and financial reporting
  • 4-6 years of experience in a digital marketing agency or similar client-facing role.
  • Strong understanding of digital channels (paid search, social, display, local, etc.) and performance marketing best practices.
  • Experience leading day-to-day program execution with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, andrelationship-buildingskills.
  • A strategic mindset paired with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Comfort with scope and budget discussions, including tracking and negotiating.
  • Understanding of Google AdWords, Google Analytics and other digital ad and analytics platforms
  • A tenacious, positive person, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can easily manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to see all of the pieces and how each piece fits together
  • Ability to report data and to relate results to client objectives
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop positive relationships with members of various internal teams as well as clients and prospects

Salary at DAC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of DAC's total compensation package for employees.
