About the Opportunity
Oakes Auto Group is one of the fastest-growing dealership groups in the region, and weโ€™re seeking a proven General Manager to lead a high-performing team. This isnโ€™t just another GM jobโ€”itโ€™s a leadership opportunity with a path to sweat equity ownership for the right candidate.

Youโ€™ll be responsible for driving profitability, leading your team with integrity, and helping us continue to scale our multi-store operation. If you're hungry for growth, focused on results, and grounded in core values, this is the role you've been looking for.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all dealership departments: Sales, Service, Parts, and Finance

  • Drive top-line revenue and bottom-line profitability

  • Build and execute strategic plans to achieve monthly/annual forecasts

  • Recruit, train, coach, and hold department leaders accountable

  • Maintain best-in-class customer service and CSI performance

  • Monitor KPIs and financial reports daily, adjusting strategy as needed

  • Collaborate on marketing and advertising strategy to grow brand reach

  • Lead by exampleโ€”be a visible, engaged leader in all store activities

  • Work directly with the Corporate team to align operations with growth strategy

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Successful track record of achieving dealership performance goals

  • 3-5+ years in dealership leadership roles (GM, GSM, or equivalent)

  • Strong grasp of both variable and fixed operations

  • High standards for accountability, culture, and execution

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills

  • Tech-savvy, data-driven, and process-oriented

  • Experience preferred with the following software:
Tekion DMS, Vauto, LotWalk, NUMA, DriveCentric, KDealer, GM GlobalConnect, Google Sheets

Oakes Auto Group Core Values

At Oakes, our success is driven by valuesโ€”not just volume. All candidates must embody the following:

  • Service Leadership โ€“ Embrace Our Work | Continual Improvement
We get the job done no matter how difficult it may be. No task is too big or too small.

  • Consistency โ€“ Looking to Serve First | Protect the Brand
We win as a team when the whole company is succeeding. Strengths are used to lift others.

  • Do the Right Thing โ€“ Positive Can-Do Attitude | Give Your Best Always
We give it our all every day to achieve exceptional results the right way.

  • Winning Attitude โ€“ Follow the Process | Follow Every Time
Great processes deliver great experiencesโ€”for our team and our customers.

  • Commitment to Work โ€“ Integrity Even When No One Is Looking | Accept Responsibility
We stand by our word, own our outcomes, and never pass blame.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Income potential: $200,000 โ€“ $500,000+ (Performance-Based)

  • Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance

  • Employee Assistance Program and Employee Discount Program

  • Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays

  • 401(k) with Company Match

  • Career Growth, Mentorship, and Leadership Development

Why Oakes?

We're a dealership group that grows peopleโ€”not just rooftops. Most of our management team was promoted from within, and our growth strategy includes several new acquisitions and store expansions in the near future.

If youโ€™re ready to be a part of something bigโ€”and possibly own a piece of itโ€”apply now.
