Reporting to position: Director of IT
Position Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Digital Product Owner to lead the delivery of innovative digital solutions that drive business and enterprise enablement across Do it Best. In this role, you will shape and execute the digital vision for a range of platforms-spanning internal enterprise systems, member-facing tools, and consumer digital experiences.
As a Digital Product Owner, you will bridge the gap between business objectives and technology execution. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to define priorities, translate business needs into actionable roadmaps, and deliver products that create measurable value for our members, employees, and partners.
This role is ideal for individuals who thrive at the intersection of strategy, collaboration, and delivery-balancing user experience, business impact, and technical excellence. Whether your focus is on internal operations, enterprise enablement, or customer engagement, you will play a critical role in advancing our digital transformation and supporting our mission to help members grow and achieve their dreams.
Key Responsibilities
Product Vision & Strategy
  • Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities where digital tools can enhance productivity, reduce friction, and unlock new capabilities.
  • Build and maintain a product roadmap that aligns technology initiatives with enterprise objectives, enabling scalability, efficiency, and long-term value creation.
  • Lead with a holistic view of the Do it Best ecosystem-integrating solutions that strengthen outcomes by divisions for Do It Best and its Members

Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with Do It Best divisional teams to understand business requirements and customer needs.
  • Serve as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technical development teams.
  • Translate high-level business goals into actionable user stories and prioritized backlogs.

Delivery & Execution
  • Lead the product lifecycle from concept through launch and iteration, ensuring quality, speed, and alignment with business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver intuitive and engaging digital experiences.
  • Work closely with QA and engineering teams to validate requirements and deliver features that meet acceptance criteria.

Performance & Optimization
  • Define and track KPIs to measure product success and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Use data insights, member feedback, and market research to continuously refine the product roadmap.
  • Ensure the digital product portfolio aligns with member and shopper needs, optimizing engagement and conversion across channels.

Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in digital product ownership
  • Proven track record of delivering successful operational and customer facing digital solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product development lifecycles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced, product-focused environment.
  • Knowledge of retail and distribution business processes.
  • Familiarity with ERP, POS, or ecommerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Fusion, etc).
  • Background in data-driven product management.
  • Understanding of cooperative or member-owned business models.
  • Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Power BI).
