Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • 2 years of experience with technical teams across project management, engineering, and construction of data centers or mission critical facilities.
  • 2 years of experience with electrical, mechanical, controls, security monitoring, fire safety, networking/fiber, server equipment, systems, or infrastructure.

Preferred qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional/team projects.
  • 2 years of experience managing vendor relationships.
  • 2 years of experience with data center equipment/environments, including electrical switchgear, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, controls, security monitoring systems and fire safety systems.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, resource organization, task prioritization, and scheduling and achieving objectives within set goals.
  • Knowledge of design and construction industry standards, including design-build processes, associated agreements, and facility electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Understanding of start up/commissioning processes.

Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple data center projects from inception to completion, overseeing all phases, including concept development, design, construction, and deployment.
  • Gather and analyze internal requirements, translating them into effective solutions that meet the needs of our data center operations teams.
  • Work effectively within an organization, collaborating with cross-functional partners, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and opportunities to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Analyze and evaluate construction issues, developing creative solutions that minimize impact on project timelines and costs.
