SUMMARY:

In this role, you’ll join a highly motivated team of marketers and be responsible for supporting the organization’s content generation, maintenance and optimization goals. Duties include but are not limited to writing new content that adheres to brand standards, project managing content approvals through the organization, reviewing content success metrics, and optimizing existing content. This role will also have opportunities to support the eCommerce team more generally, with opportunities to learn about paid search management and oversight, general website and conversion rate optimization and more.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • SEO Content Creation: Develop original, high-quality content optimized for target keywords and search intent across product pages, category pages, and blog posts
  • Keyword Research: Conduct thorough keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for ranking and organic traffic growth
  • Content Strategy: Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop content strategies aligned with business goals and customer needs
  • Blog Development: Write informational blog posts covering vaping industry trends, product guides, flavor reviews, and related topics to establish authority and drive traffic
  • On-Page SEO Optimization: Optimize existing and new content for search engines (meta tags, headers, internal linking, structured data, readability)
  • Content Updates: Regularly audit and update existing content to maintain freshness and relevance for search rankings
  • Analytics Monitoring: Track content performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies based on ranking data, traffic metrics, and user engagement
  • Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure all content complies with industry regulations, company standards, and factual accuracy regarding Kado Bar products
  • Deadline & Project Management: Meet content calendars and project deadlines while maintaining consistent quality standards

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • High school diploma
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience:

  • 2+ Years of Professional SEO Content Writing Experience: Proven track record of creating SEO-optimized content that ranks in search engines
  • Writing Proficiency: Exceptional writing skills with ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences
  • SEO Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research tools, search intent, on-page optimization, and technical SEO basics
  • Content Management Systems: Experience with WordPress, Webflow, or similar CMS platforms
  • SEO Tools Proficiency: Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as:
    • Keyword research tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Keyword Planner)
    • Analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console)
    • Content optimization tools (Yoast, RankMath, Surfer)
  • Research Ability: Excellent research skills to validate information and create accurate, authoritative content
