In this role, you will be deeply involved in daily accountingoperations, the month-end close process, and job costing support within a dynamicconstruction environment. You will collaborate closely with project managers andinternal teams to ensure all costs are accurately captured and appropriately coded.Responsibilities of the Role: Preparing and posting journal entries, including accruals, prepaid expenses, andreallocations. Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances. Supporting the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Processing accounts payable (AP) invoices, ensuring accurate coding to jobnumbers, cost codes, and general ledger (GL) accounts. Reviewing invoices for required information, such as purchase orders (PO), jobnumbers, equipment, and scope of work. Following up with project managers and field staff to obtain any missing orincomplete information. Assisting in maintaining job costing accuracy and tracking costs across multipleprojects. Providing supporting data for work-in-progress (WIP) schedules and projectreporting. Maintaining organized documentation to support audit requirements and internalreviews. Applying analytical and problem-solving skills to manage multiple priorities anddeliver results.Qualifications required: Minimum of 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the constructionindustry. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field or equivalent workexperience will be considered; CPA certification is preferred. Demonstrate proven experience with General Ledger and reconciliations. Proficiency in work-in-progress (WIP) accounting and job costing, along withadvanced skills in digital tools such as QuickBooks, Excel, Google Chat, Zoom,and Gmail.Join C.R.
