Overview
Location: Hybrid - Pittsburgh, PA (3 days onsite / 2 days WFH)
Job Type: Full Time / Contract
Work Authorization: Any
The A.C. Coy company has an immediate opening for a Senior Accountant for a 6-month engagement. Ideal candidates will have several years of accounting experience including experience with technical accounting, CPA preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily accounting activities, including journal entries, accounting reconciliations, and month-end close processes
  • Support M&A activities including setting up acquisition entries
  • Prepare NAV calculations
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
  • Support end of year accounting activities

Qualifications
Education Required
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Related
  • CPA preferred

Experience Required
  • 5+ years experience in accounting or finance
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office / Google Suite
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with little oversight
