Job Summary

Stratford Medical Group is looking for self-motivated and dependable individuals with basic accounting knowledge. Ideal candidates must have good verbal and written skills and be proficient in MS Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Google.

Accounting/Finance Specialist -- Fort Lauderdale, FL

*Total Compensation ($51K to $55K) Includes Base Salary Plus Bonus Incentives*

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain sales logs for the various clinics.
  • Reviewing the accuracy of documentation submitted from the clinic staff.
  • Communicate and work with clinical staff to ensure all required patient documentations are submitted in a timely manner.
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly sales reconciliation as requested by management.
  • Create various sales and accounting related reporting on a regular basis.
  • Perform reconciliation and posting of payable items.
  • Reconciliation of sales logs, funding from loans, bank deposits, credit card transactions and invoicing from our suppliers.
  • Assisting Medical Consultants in the clinics with the application process for treatment plans for the patients.
  • Preparing paperwork for finance disputes and accurately recording the results.
  • Review patient's payments by recording cash, checks and credit card transactions.
  • Perform data entry and administrative duties.
  • Generate daily accounts receivable reports.
  • Maintains strictest confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.

Position Schedule Requirements:

  • Full time position with 8-hour shifts
  • Monday through Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm
  • Participation in a rotational flex week schedule
  • Flex week hours are 10:00am to 7:00pm or until last patient leaves clinic
  • Required to work one Saturday per month
  • Some holidays required based on clinic needs

Skills/Requirements:

  • Associates Degree Business/Accounting preferred
  • Minimum of 2-years of basic accounting experience
  • Adhere to all company policies.
  • Adhere to HIPAA requirements.
