Job description

Position Summary:

The General Manager is responsible for maximizing sales and revenues to meet Donated Goods Retail's commitment to the mission and values of Goodwill-Easter Seals MN. This position provides high-level leadership and guidance through development and training of store personnel and store operations.

Day in the life: In a typical day, a General Manager can expect to...

  • Store Operations: Ensure the retail store operates efficiently and effectively.
  • Talent Management: Ensure store talent is trained and developed and manage store personnel needs.
  • Store Business Management: Ensure financial and business control through reporting and communication.
  • Services and Programs: Ensure continued community involvement and education around Goodwill-Easter Seals
  • Safety: Help contribute to a safe, welcoming environment for employees and customers. 

Job Pay & Perks:

  • Pay range: $71,135 - $99,784 per year

About You:

Required Knowledge & Skills:

  •  Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, employees and customers
  • Proficient in Windows and Microsoft applications
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills with the ability to prioritize
  • Strong attention to detail

Prior Experience & Education: 

  • 3-5 Years of relevant experience required
  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred
