Rappahannock Goodwill Industries, Inc.
Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide a diversity of specific job training services related to Rappahannock Goodwill Industries mission. Participate, as assigned, in the assessment and implementation of job skills training in a variety of small group settings.
DUTIES:
1. Provide individualized services based on participant's career plan.
2. Complete an assessment of each participant's strengths and needs and physical environment to develop a person-centered service plan.
3. Process and submit reports, training narratives, case notes and referrals in a timely manner.
4. Conduct/participate in Group Supported Employment supervision.
5. Develop positive, functional, professional relationships with participant team members and with employers to provide awareness of RGI's diverse employment services.
6. Monitor daily attendance for services and prepare monthly billing.
7. Attend Assessment/Planning and Transportation Team (acting as contact between RGI and RACSB) meetings.
8. Participate in the determination of ratings in specific areas of the Job Readiness Checklist (JRC) as requested.
9. Attend scheduled staff meetings.
10. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education/Training:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent and 1+ years experience or equivalent in social work/rehabilitation, working with individuals with physical and/or DD/ID disabilities or related area. Experience conducting/supervising training programs with knowledge of principles and techniques of development/implementation of training strategies a plus. Valid Virginia Driver's License (driving record must be acceptable to RGI's insurance carrier).
Physical Demands: Able to perform hands-on training for positions requiring heavy physical labor, standing for extended periods of time, ability to lift up to 50lbs and stoop and bend without restriction.
Working Conditions: Plant environment with varying hours and days. Limited local travel.
