Travis Club is an exclusive private golf community being created on the shores of Lake Travis just outside Austin, Texas. The club will feature a championship golf course designed by Beau Welling alongside a full collection of luxury amenities including water recreation, wellness, racquet sports, and an inspired Golf House environment.


The club experience is centered around exceptional hospitality, personalized service, meaningful relationships, and a genuine connection with our members. We are seeking an energetic and team focused Assistant Golf Professional who is passionate about building a career in private club golf. This position offers valuable hands on experience across all areas of golf operations while supporting the launch of a world class private club environment. This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow within the golf industry, develop strong member relationships, and be part of something unique from the very beginning.

Requirements:

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide a welcoming and elevated experience for members and guests at every touchpoint
  • Support daily golf operations including golf cart presentation, bag management, and practice facility standards
  • Assist with junior golf clinics, instructional programs, and player development initiatives
  • Help execute tournaments, member events, scoring, scoreboard updates, and event communications
  • Promote merchandising presentation and assist with special order fulfillment
  • Assist with club repair services including regripping and basic club maintenance
  • Play golf with members to help strengthen engagement and community
  • Maintain Golf House, practice facility, comfort station, and surrounding operational standards with attention to detail
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative, motivated, and hospitality focused team culture
  • Communicate effectively with the Golf Services Team and Golf Professional Staff to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements

Required Education and Experience

  • PGA Member or Associate preferred
  • Prior experience in golf operations, hospitality, or customer service preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the industry
  • Comfortable with technology including point of sale and tee sheet systems
  • Well organized, dependable, and committed to exceptional service standards
  • Working knowledge of golf fundamentals, etiquette, and rules
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, team oriented environment
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license preferred
