SALARY: $13.27 per hour

SUMMARY:

The Outside Player Assistant is responsible for supporting daily on-course operations by managing golf cart staging, maintenance, and overall outside service functions. This position helps ensure a positive experience for golfers through efficient cart operations, course support, and professional customer interaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Stage golf carts daily and ensure all carts are clean, charged, and ready for use.

· Clean, maintain, and secure golf carts throughout the day and at closing.

· Monitor cart battery condition and overall cart functionality.

· Maintain the cart barn and outside service areas to ensure a safe, organized, and professional environment.

· Maintain driving range; monitoring range ball supply and condition, picking and cleaning range balls as needed and keeping range picker in good condition.

· Assist golfers with cart assignments and basic course orientation as needed.

· Maintain trash receptacles, ball washers, and water stations throughout the course.

· Refill water coolers and restock cups as needed.

· Clean and organize rental club sets, ensuring all clubs are accounted for.

· Report cart or operational issues to the Golf Shop Manager or supervisor.

EQUIPMENT

Multi-screen desktop computer, multi-line telephone, headset, and other general office equipment (including but not limited to fax machine, copy machine, printer, etc.)

The employee may occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Tasks may involve extended periods at a keyboard or work station.
