Job Description

Department: Parks + Rec

Grade: 190

Salary: $25.11

Job Duties:

  • Responsible to assisting with supervising, planning, coordinating and implementing the overall objectives, policies, programs and budget control for the Fred Arbanas Golf Course.
  • Provides supervision in the absence of the Golf Professional for five part-time pro shop clerks; four part-time Par-3 clerks; three part-time driving range attendants, one full-time snack bar manager; six part-time snack bar and beverage cart clerks and thirty volunteer marshal/starters
  • In the absence of the Golf Professional, the employee becomes the Acting Golf Professional.
  • Responsible for budget control of the retail store budget, selecting and purchasing items for the retail operation

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Parks and Recreation Administration or related field or 4 years of management experience in the golf industry.
  • Must have successfully completed the PGA playing ability test and enrolled in the Professional Golf Management Program prior to employment.
  • Must submit to/pass pre-employment background and drug screen.
