Blackstone Country Club, located in Peoria, AZ, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Assistant Golf Professional! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Located in Peoria, Arizona, Blackstone Country Club is a premier private club featuring a championship golf course, active membership, and a vibrant golf calendar. The club prides itself on providing an exceptional golf experience while fostering a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for members and staff alike.
Summary
The Assistant Golf Professional will work closely with the Head Golf Professional and golf operations staff in all aspects of the golf operation. Responsibilities include tournament operations, member services, merchandising support, outside operations oversight, teaching opportunities, and daily golf shop management. This is an excellent opportunity for a PGA Professional or an individual currently enrolled in the PGA Professional Golf Management Program, who is looking to grow within a high-end private club environment. This position is ideal for someone who is professional, personable, organized, and eager to continue developing their career within the golf industry.
Compensation:
  • Competitive salary based on experience

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding member and guest service on a daily basis
  • Assist with tournament operations and event administration
  • Manage daily golf shop operations, tee sheet, and point-of-sale systems
  • Support merchandising and inventory control
  • Assist with outside operations and practice facility management
  • Provide individual instruction and player development opportunities
  • Help maintain a positive and professional club atmosphere
  • Work collaboratively with the golf operations team and other club departments

Qualifications
  • PGA Member preferred, but not required
  • PGA Associate actively progressing through the PGA Program strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude with a team-first mentality
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Experience with Golf Genius, ForeTees, and Jonas/Troon systems is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced private club environment
