Job description

Summary The Golf Coordinator is responsible for administrative duties that ensure the operation of the golf course's business functions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assists in the operation of golf course play and pro shop operation. Responsible for golfer registration.

Assists in the keeping of records of rounds played. Manages the play of patrons and starting times. Works with various golf organizations using the golf course.

Assists in the enforcement of all rules and regulations at the golf course. Assists in the collection of monies garnered through course transactions. Education, Training and Experience The Golf Coordinator should possess, at minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least one (1) year of experience in related work; or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.

Possession of a valid Georgia Motor Vehicle Operator's License. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities The Golf Coordinator must be knowledgeable of the following principles, procedures, and concepts: Knowledge of golf play and pro shop operations. Knowledge of golf rules and their application to the game.

Knowledge of personal computers and relevant programs. Ability to maintain accurate records and handle money. Ability to work with various age groups and various sized groups of individuals.
