Job description

Job Duties: Vice President, Product Management with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in New York, New York. Monitor application health and perform first-line technical investigation of production alerts. Navigate complex production environments, analyzing and interpreting application logs, and taking manual actions where necessary to resolve technical or functional issues. Investigate and respond to technical queries from internal Trading and Sales teams as well as external Goldman Sachs clients. Monitor issues impacting client pricing or execution, guidance on internal and external trading platforms, user and client setup/configuration, and ad hoc data requests. Support the delivery and ongoing management of vendor applications used across trading and clearing functions, spanning front, middle, and back-office operations Manage incident triage and crisis response for major production issues, including performing initial technical investigations, coordinating escalation to development and infrastructure teams, and communicating effectively with business stakeholders. Conduct follow-ups to ensure resolution and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements: Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, or related field such as Business Administration and three (3) years of experience in job offered or related role OR Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, or related field such as Business Administration and five (5) years of experience in job offered or related role. Prior experience must include three (3) years with Master's OR five (5) years with Bachelor's with the following: supporting applications within electronic trading environments and experience with associated operational risks; analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex trading and financial issues for traders and end-users in a fast-paced front-office environment.; managing trading applications to maximize system availability, stability, and risk mitigation; working in a front-office trading or financial environment managing risk for millions of dollars; running incident and Change Management processes for live and persistent production issues; and managing and delivering changes and enhancements to trading applications, including coordinating across teams and stakeholders.

Salary Range: Annual base salary for this New York, New York-based position is $180,000 - $249,800.
