Responsibilities
  • Oversee existing trade and customs program, including maintaining a comprehensive global trade compliance program, ensuring adherence to import/export regulations and customs laws
  • Manage Harmonized System (HS) classification, customs valuation, country of origin determination, and other import/export requirements for all products and components
  • Oversee duty and tariff management, including identifying opportunities for duty minimization programs (e.g., Free Trade Agreements, duty drawback, special customs regimes)
  • Collaborate closely with Supply Chain/Order Fulfillment, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure efficient and compliant cross-border movement of goods
  • Monitor and assess the impact of global trade policy changes, tariffs, and non-tariff barriers impacting supply chain and cost structure
  • Manage trade-related risk, including export controls compliance (in partnership with Legal).
  • Manage broker relationships
  • Manage, support and develop local government relationships
  • Lead and support trade and customs inquires and audits

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics/Supply Chain, International Trade or related field. May accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
  • Advanced degree (JD strongly preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in trade compliance, supply chain management, or trade l aw within a global company
  • 10+ years of people management experience, including global and virtual teams
  • U.S. Customs Broker License strongly preferred
  • Global/International experience strongly preferred
