OVERVIEW
The Global IT Procurement Source to Pay Solution Owner ("Solution Owner") reports to Director, IT Global Process Lead for Operations, Supply Chain & Procurement and partners with the FCC/ASR Procurement business functions to translate functional strategy and requirements into process and IT solutions. This role requires proficiency in Source to Pay business processes, consumer product goods industry knowledge and SAP and non-SAP technical platforms, including Ariba.
The Solution Owner brings deep process and system knowledge (especially in the areas of SAP Source to Pay and Ariba) and is responsible together with the Enterprise Architect for the design and roadmap of all Source to Pay IT projects through the company and its partners.
The primary function of the Solution Owner is to work with the procurement functions globally to understand the vision and define capabilities required to enable the vision of the function. In addition, the solution owner will partner with the Enterprise Architecture team to optimize current processes, drive business outcomes from technology investments and provide an outside-in perspective from the industry
The Solution Owner must be self-driven, with strong business process and systems knowledge, analytical skills, excellent communication, and good customer presence.
DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Engage and influence functional stakeholders on process and technology decisions aligned to global strategies, processes and solutions
  • Deliver business value through their expertise and help drive growth in business
  • Partner with the IT Supply Chain Enterprise Architect to develop the IT strategic roadmap for their process area
  • Ensure transparency of the value and total cost of ownership (TCO) of all solutions in their process area
  • Build robust IT solutions that are sustainable and drive application rationalization
  • In relationship with the Supply Chain and Tower Lead, ensure the delivery of program/projects is in line with business objectives at lowest possible costs, and agreed timeline and realizing business benefits while delivering quality solutions
  • Partner with IT Enterprise Architecture to ensure that the solutions identified are compliant with EA strategy and standards
  • Analyze high-level requirements and conduct cost/benefit analysis to determine proper architecture solution
  • Implement best practices to continually improve performance of solutions to achieve the long-term strategic goals
  • Seek and obtain a deep understanding of the solutions supporting the New Product Development and Quality processes
  • Collaborate with relevant partners and stakeholders to ensure project and operational performance
  • Play a leadership role in delivering Source to Pay projects and solutions
  • Partner with the business to develop idea management artifacts (project scope, charter, business case)
  • Help the functions understand system impacts to process improvement and changes
  • Work with external partners to implement new functionality according to functional requirements
  • Complete and oversee SAP, Ariba and non-SAP technical and application changes for Source to Pay processes
  • Actively participate in industry forums and understand how new industry trends can be leveraged in the Procurement functions

WORK EXPERIENCES
  • Minimum of 10+ years of relevant IT experience executing or leading SAP implementations of Source to Pay solutions
  • 5+ years in roles demonstrating exceptional leadership and solution capabilities partnering or part of procurement functions
  • Has led Source to Pay projects to optimize business processes leveraging technology
  • Knowledge and experience with SAP Source to Pay/MM functionality and Ariba modules is a must
  • Led business case development for complex Source to Pay initiatives
  • Detailed understanding of S/4 HANA system integration and functionality
  • Knowledge and experience of SAP Fiori and overall Source to Pay analytics is preferred
  • Led or key participant in software/ vendor selection activities
  • Experienced in Source to Pay business applications with technological awareness
