Sales Leader - Construction

Huntsman is seeking a Sales Manager - Construction supporting the Polyurethanes Division located in The Woodlands, Texas. This position will report to the Commercial Director, PU Americas.

Job Scope

The Sales Manager - Construction is responsible for delivering revenue growth and profitability targets for the Construction market across the Americas. This role drives accountability for sales performance, commercial discipline, pricing excellence, demand forecasting, key account management, and innovation support. The position collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, customers, and regional stakeholders to strengthen Huntsman's market position and achieve sustainable growth.

In summary, as the Sales Manager - Construction, you will:

  • Drive revenue growth and profitability targets for the Construction market in the Americas.
  • Lead and maintain high-quality Key Account Management Plans.
  • Champion pricing excellence initiatives to maximize value for Huntsman products and services.
  • Provide accurate monthly demand and pricing forecasts while monitoring sales trends and communicating forecast deviations.
  • Collaborate with regional and global sales teams to ensure consistent account management strategies.
  • Support the development and commercialization of innovative products and solutions.
  • Provide market intelligence and business insights to Strategic Marketing and Innovation teams.
  • Develop and coach team members to build capabilities, encourage knowledge sharing, and foster continuous improvement.
  • Strengthen relationships with customers and key stakeholders to identify opportunities and mitigate business risks.
  • Manage fixed cost spending and optimize the allocation of technical service resources.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of Leadership Team experience.
  • 5+ years of Account Management leadership experience.
  • 5+ years of experience within the chemical or polyurethane industry.
  • Proven sales leadership experience in commodity chemicals.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong leadership and team development skills.

  • Strong commercial acumen with a focus on pricing and value optimization.
