In this highly visible hybrid work opportunity as a Global Trade Site Lead for a headquarter location, based out of East Hartford, Connecticut, you will partner with the GT Program Support (GTPS) teams located at the site to ensure compliance with Global Trade rules and regulations and program alignment across the GTPS teams.
This role will report to the GT Program Management Office (PMO). Primary functions include, but are not limited to, maintaining a site presence, coordinating site GT Council(s), support site-wide communications, coordination between the GTPS teams, management of facility requirements and ensure program alignment across the site.
What You Will Do:
  • Serve as the primary Global Trade contact for the East Hartford or Longueuil site, providing comprehensive coordination across the site.
  • Partner with GTPS to identify, assess, and manage global trade issues, opportunities or enhancements at the physical site.
  • Lead/coordinate site level GT council(s) with the GT community at the site.
  • Serve as point of contact for site level audit(s), corrective actions, site card maintenance and related data,
  • The ability to communicate clearly, build relationships, exercise good judgment and work effectively across P&W is critical in this role.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of global trade experience, including experience in roles that ensure compliance with the ITAR, EAR, and U.S. sanctions regulations; OR Advanced Degree and 5+ years of global trade experience, including experience in roles that ensure compliance with the ITAR, EAR, and U.S. sanctions regulations
  • US Citizen due to program requirements

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, specifically related to working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Must be able to develop clear, concise and logically written business communications as well as deliver recommendations
  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to motivate, influence, manage crisis, and develop effective networks with internal customers and ability to collaborate with multiple business functions for success
  • Comfortable making quick decisions and exercising good judgment with escalation of issues
  • Experience working with executive level management; Ability to clearly communicate at all organizational levels

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
