Job description

Job Summary:
Venture Global LNG is a long-term provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas, focusing on efficient and reliable energy solutions. The Manager of IT Site Services will oversee IT support personnel, ensuring excellent customer service and collaboration with other departments to meet hardware and software needs while managing projects to be delivered on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
• Manages site project(s) for the implementation or development of software components, hardware, or computer application systems
• Manages vendors/contractors to ensure they deliver the value and services as contracted
• Ensures projects are delivered on time, on budget and with high quality
• Plans team resource needs and work closely with other managers to set clear expectations and roles for team members
• Participates in process and technology re-engineering
• Analyzes and recommends implementation options
• Provides business and technical integration across all related site activities
• Communicates plans, statuses, and issues to the leadership team
• Develop, implement and maintain IT standard operation procedures
• Analyze departmental needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions
• Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, computer science, or management information systems
• Proven experience managing IT site services within complex industrial environments, with hands-on expertise supporting both Operational Technology (OT) and Plant Technology (PT) systems to ensure secure, reliable, and high-availability operations
• 10+ years of professional experience in operational management and the implementation of technology solutions within an energy facility or comparable industrial environment
• Ability to implement technology projects in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Strong technical skills directing technical professionals
• Ability to develop and deliver projects using (where appropriate) leading-edge technology
• Superior written and oral communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Self-motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Ability to work in both office and industrial site environments, including walking throughout facilities, standing, bending, and occasionally lifting or moving equipment up to 25–40 pounds. Must be able to use standard computer equipment and perform visual inspections of IT infrastructure while adhering to site safety and PPE requirements.
