KC Harvey Environmental (an Aventia company) is a rapidly expanding environmental consulting and field services firm based in Bozeman, Montana. We maintain regional operations in Alaska, Colorado, North Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming, with additional remote teams working throughout the Rocky Mountains and Northern Great Plains.  Our team plays a vital role in supporting industries and agencies that rely on expert environmental permitting, reclamation, restoration, and remediation. KC Harvey is hiring a Reclamation Supervisor to lead field-based reclamation and environmental operations across Wyoming. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, guiding field crews, and ensuring high-quality environmental compliance on active project sites. The position is 
based in Rawlins, with frequent regional travel. Field operations run April through November 2026, with the possibility of continued work depending on 
project volumes. During the winter/off-season, the role shifts to reduced hours focused on equipment maintenance and shop support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support field crews on reclamation and environmental projects.
  • Operate herbicide spray equipment (truck-mounted, ATV/UTV, backpack) for vegetation 
  • management.
  • Safely and accurately mix herbicide solutions per manufacturer guidelines.
  • Assist with land reclamation and restoration tasks as assigned.
  • Learn and identify native and invasive plant species (training provided).
  • Use digital mapping tools for navigation in the field.
  • Collect spatial data using ArcGIS Collector on tablets.
  • Complete all paperwork and digital documentation neatly, accurately, and on time.
  • Maintain a professional, team-oriented attitude when working with colleagues and partners.
  • Be available for early start times and extended workdays in remote or rugged terrain.
  • Install stormwater and erosion-control measures (wattles, sediment barriers, silt fence)
  • Maintain and repair erosion-control systems as needed.
  • Conduct field inspections to assess erosion risks and site conditions.
  • Document and map erosion features using digital tools.
  • Maintain accurate digital records of inspections and repairs.
  • Operate CDL-required vehicles approximately 25% of the time, hauling equipment and materials as needed.

What You Need

  • Class A CDL with Air Brakes and Manual Transmission endorsement.
  • Wyoming Pesticide Applicator License (preferred) or willingness to obtain one within two weeks of hire (KC Harvey reimburses the licensing cost).
  • Equipment operation experience (tractors, skid steers, etc.).
  • Maintenance experience preferred but not required—training provided.
  • Strong commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
  • Ability to stay in hotel or company housing for extended periods (often weeks at a time).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background, drug and alcohol screening.
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Willingness to travel regularly to project sites.
  • Ability to work early mornings and long days as needed.
  • Capable of working in rugged terrain and adverse weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform hands-on field labor.
  • Comfortable using digital tools such as tablets, GPS, and mapping software.
  • Strong team mindset with the ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols
