Koley Jessen is seeking to hire an Immigration Paralegal to join our Employment and Immigration team. What you'll do:
ย  ย Prepare family-based immigrant petitions (I-130) for immediate relatives and preference categories
ย  ย Assist with consular processing, including DS-260 and NVC submissions
ย  ย Draft and file adjustment of status applications and related supporting documents
ย  ย Support naturalization applications (N-400) and citizenship-related matters
ย  ย Assist with DACA renewals, TPS applications, and humanitarian-based filings as needed
ย  ย Communicate directly with clients and foreign nationals to gather documentation, explain procedures, and provide timely case updates.
ย  ย Draft correspondence, support letters, cover letters, and legal memoranda for attorney review.
ย  ย Manage and maintain client immigration files, tracking deadlines, receipt notices, RFEs, approvals, and expirations.
ย  ย Assist in managing immigration court calendar
ย  ย Prepare and file applications and documents for immigration court
ย  ย Prepare and file motions with immigration courtย 

What you need:ย 
ย  ย Associate's or bachelor's degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
ย  ย Minimum of 2 years of immigration paralegal experience; exposure to family immigration strongly preferred.
ย  ย Familiarity with USCIS, DOL, NVC, and DOS filing requirements, procedures, and online portals.
ย  ย Proficiency with immigration case management software a plus.
ย  ย Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage a high-volume, deadline-driven caseload with accuracy.
ย  ย Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex immigration concepts clearly and compassionately to clients.
ย  ย Bilingual (Spanish).
ย  ย Professional, empathetic, and client-service-oriented approach with a collaborative, team-first mindset
ย  ย Proficient with computer systems, including Microsoft products
ย  ย Excellent academic and professional credentialsย 
ย  ย A client-service mindset and strong desire to achieve a high level of productivityย
