Job description

Amazon Ads is seeking a Director to lead two high-impact, creative workstreams: Brand Partnership Studios and Ads Brand Strategy. This is a dual-mandate leadership role that requires equal fluency in premium creative execution and long-term brand building - someone who is equally comfortable pitching a CMO on a custom entertainment partnership and shaping the strategic brand architecture for a quickly-evolving ads business.
You will lead large, multi-disciplinary teams across multiple job families and creative disciplines. You will be the connective tissue between world-class entertainment IP, global advertisers, and Amazon's advertising publisher landscape, while simultaneously building the brand strategy infrastructure that defines how Amazon Ads shows up to the market.
This role is for a leader who thrives in ambiguity, operates at the intersection of creativity and commerce, and has a track record of building and scaling creative organizations that deliver measurable business impact.
Key job responsibilities
-Lead the creative teams responsible for concepting, pitching, and delivering custom brand partnerships built around Amazon's most valuable entertainment and content IP.
-Serve as the senior creative leader accountable for partnership win rates, pitch quality, and the creative bar of delivered programs across markets.
-Directly manage US-based creative teams and coordinate global Brand Partnership Studios teams spanning multiple regions.
-Partner daily with senior leaders across sales, content, studios, and go-to-market organizations to align on priorities, unlock IP access, and deliver against revenue targets.
-Engage directly with VP, SVP, and CMO-level brand decision-makers
-Build and lead a creative studio responsible for developing the global brand positioning, tone, voice, and design systems for Amazon Ads.
-Create a brand architecture that captures the breadth of Amazon Ads' offering in a way that resonates with advertisers of all sizes - from emerging brands to global enterprises.
-Future-proof the brand system for an AI-driven communications landscape where clarity, consistency, and structured content across digital touchpoints are critical to discoverability and engagement.
-Deliver scalable brand guidance and creative systems that enable marketing teams across the organization to independently produce personalized, on-brand communications throughout the advertiser lifecycle.
-Own key brand health metrics including unaided awareness, brand consideration, and brand preference among target advertiser audiences.
About the team
Brand Innovation Lab (BIL) is an award-winning advertising team that conceptualizes and executes bespoke advertising experiences for brands who invest in media with Amazon Ads, scaling successful campaign elements as new products or features in existing products

Brand Partnership Studios operate within BIL as experts in co-branded, IP-driven programs.
