- Recruit, train, schedule, and support a network of volunteer program facilitators capable of delivering council programming throughout the eight-county footprint.
- Develop facilitator tools, training, and program materials that allow successful programs to be replicated consistently across locations.
- Partner with Service Units requesting program support to identify existing council programs, badges, patches, or volunteer facilitators that can meet local needs.
- Support Service Units in expanding visibility of local program opportunities through the council calendar and appropriate communication channels.
- Engage Green Team and other volunteers in program delivery at signature events, camps, Leadership Center programs, and community pop-ups.
Summer Day Camp
- Lead the design, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Summer Day Camp pilot.
- Develop the camp model, weekly themes, program schedule, pricing recommendations, capacity, staffing and volunteer facilitator needs, and participant experience.
- Collaborate with Outdoor Programs to ensure appropriate safety standards, procedures, and Girl Scout camp practices are incorporated into the model.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and support volunteers and facilitators for camp delivery.
- Evaluate the pilot using participation, financial performance, girl and caregiver feedback, and operational outcomes and provide recommendations for future growth.
PROGRAM OPERATIONAL FUNCTIONS
