Level 3 RN โ€“ Endoscopy/GI

Schedule: M-F 8am - 8pm; on-call required for overnights and weekends

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • NY license
  • BLS Certification (AHA ONLY)
  • ACLS Certification (AHA ONLY)
  • 2 years previous endoscopy procedure experience
  • Telemetry monitoring and rhythm identification
  • Conscious sedation
  • Expert IV insertion
  • Experience recovering patients from general anesthesia
  • Experience performing intake for GI procedures

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Answer patient questions and address their concerns.
  • Observe patient vital signs and monitor their condition.
  • Sedate patients before procedures and assist in recovery afterward.
  • Administer necessary medications and IV drips.
  • Prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
  • Complete all necessary documentation including patient notes and discharge documents.
