Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Visit supplier facilities to perform quality inspections.
  • Scan, sort, and inspect parts for defects and non-conformities.
  • Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
  • Record inspection results and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Enter data and prepare reports using computer applications.
  • Communicate quality concerns and findings to the appropriate stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of quality inspection processes and standards.
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments.
  • Ability to scan, sort, and inspect parts accurately.
  • Proficient with computers and data entry.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently at supplier locations.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Automotive or manufacturing quality experience preferred.
