Job Description

The inside sales representative is responsible for providing quality
customer support by answering incoming phone calls associated with sales
of B&D MFG., INC. Services provided will include technical support,
pricing and availability inquiries, and other related questions. This
individual will establish and maintain customer relationships with new
and current customer data base by delivering consistency of product
information and quality customer service.  The position includes
potential for occasional outside sales responsibilities as needed. This
position is supervised by the company sales manager.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of
B&D Mfg., Inc. products and pricing structure to provide best in
class customer support.
2. Identify sales leads, manage prospects
and analyze new business opportunities by various means including
internet searches, cold call telephone contacts, or other market
research methods.
3. Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
4. Maintain assigned client Contact information and meeting notes in the B&D ACT database.
5.Promptly identify and resolve client concerns which may include the
need to provide trouble shooting and technical support within B&D
Mfg., Inc. guidelines.
6. Assist with the development and maintenance pf B&D Mfg., Inc. sales materials and current product knowledge files.
7. Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up.
8.Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings,
follow-up, and adherence to goals. Preparations shall be submitted to
Sales Manager.
9. Update and maintain product pricing information as well as product literature to be disbursed to customers.
10. Create new and revise all product installation guides and literature when needed.
11.Communicate new product and service opportunities, special
developments, information, or feedback gathered through communications
with B&D Mfg., Inc. clients to appropriate company staff.
12. Report to the company Finance Department to account for business related spending on company credit card.
13. Develop and suggest special sales activities to help reduce outdated stock.
14. Attend quarterly B&D Mfg., Inc. sales meetings as scheduled.
15. Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Candidates must have previous sales experience and knowledge on use of office
computer programs. Marketing duties may be included.
