Theย Surveying and Geomatics Business Unit is seeking a Survey Project Manager in Woodinville, WA.

As a Survey Project Manager, you will lead diverse land survey projects acrossย Western Washington, from boundary and topographic surveys to ALTA/NSPS surveys and construction support. You will be accountable for technical excellence, financial performance, and client satisfaction while providing clear direction to field and office teams. This role blends strong technicalย expertiseย with proactive leadership, mentorship, and collaboration across disciplines to deliver high-quality results that strengthen client relationships and grow the business.ย 

What You'll DoKey Responsibilities:
  • Lead and review boundary analysis, mapping, and topographic survey calculations to ensure defensible, highquality deliverablesย 

  • Own project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, scope management, and change controlย 

  • Lead quality control efforts for survey deliverables, including plats, ALTA surveys, design mapping, and construction staking calculationsย 

  • Identifyย opportunities forย additionalย services and support proposal efforts to grow existing client relationshipsย 

  • Prepare proposals and collaborate with technical teams to define project approachesย 

  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and direction to field and office staffย 

  • Coordinate with DEA's Geomatics Group and Delivery Leaders to align staffing and project needsย 

  • Ensure adherence to DEA's firmwide processes for contracting, project accounting, and quality standardsย 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring responsiveness and delivery excellenceย 

  • Proactively collaborate with engineers, planners, and other disciplines to support integrated project deliveryย 

  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and career development of survey staffย 

  • Act as a clientfacing, revenueaccountable, culturedriving leaderย 

What You BringRequired Qualifications:
  • Active Washington Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license, or the ability to obtain licensure within one yearย 

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience in land surveyingย 

  • Demonstrated experience managing projects and mentoring survey staffย 

  • Strong client communication skills withย a high levelย of attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience using Trimble Business Center softwareย 

  • Proficiencyย in Civil 3D and experience reviewing engineering plansย ย
