  • Manage budget allocation, bidding strategy, audience targeting, creative testing, and campaign pacing to maximize ROAS and CPL performance
  • Implement rigorous A/B testing across ad creative, landing pages, and audience segments to drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure all advertising campaigns align with mortgage regulatory standards and compliance requirements

Search Engine Optimization, AEO & GEO

  • Develop and execute a modern search roadmap that expands beyond traditional SEO to include AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategies
  • Optimize for high-intent queries, featured snippets, voice search, AI-generated responses, and emerging search surfaces
  • Partner with content and product teams to improve technical SEO, site architecture, crawlability, and schema markup implementation
  • Monitor organic search rankings, share of voice, and AI search visibility using advanced analytics tools

Website Experience & Landing Page Optimization

  • Own the end-to-end website conversion funnel from ad click to application start, with a relentless focus on revenue generation
  • Lead landing page strategy and testing frameworks-including A/B and multivariate tests-to increase engagement, reduce drop-off, and improve qualified lead flow
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics teams to deploy site enhancements quickly and iteratively
  • Use behavioral data, heatmaps, and funnel reporting to identify friction points and drive measurable conversion lift
  • Manage affiliate marketing conversion optimization

Website Content Strategy & Management

  • Oversee website content strategy to support demand generation, brand authority, client education, and organic search performance
  • Align editorial calendars with paid media, search priorities, and product initiatives
  • Ensure website content reflects Sage's client-first mindset and simplifies complex mortgage topics for everyday borrowers
  • Optimize content distribution across owned, earned, and paid channels to maximize reach and engagement

Analytics, Reporting & Revenue Ownership

  • Establish clear KPIs across acquisition, engagement, and conversion-tying marketing activity directly to revenue generation
  • Build dashboards and present performance insights to senior stakeholders with actionable recommendations
  • Maintain accurate tagging, attribution, and CRM integrations across all digital properties
  • Continuously evaluate and refine the martech stack to improve measurement, scalability, and speed-to-insight

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner closely with Product, Sales, Compliance, Engineering, Design, and Analytics teams to align marketing strategy with business goals
  • Contribute to strategic planning, forecasting, and growth modeling as a key voice in shaping Sage's digital future
  • Partner with customer experience to oversee Sage's brand reputation across digital platforms.

What We're Looking For:

  • 6+ years of experience in digital marketing with deep expertise in paid media (SEM), SEO, website conversion optimization, and content strategy
  • Prior people management experience with a track record of building, coaching, and scaling high-performing teams
  • Proven success managing SEM campaigns and performance budgets with direct accountability for revenue generation and measurable growth
  • Strong command of search engine optimization principles including technical SEO, on-page strategy, and link-building
  • Working knowledge of AEO, GEO, and evolving AI-driven search ecosystems
  • Hands-on experience leading landing page strategy and CRO testing frameworks (A/B, multivariate) with measurable conversion impact
  • Proficiency with Google Ads, GA4, Google Tag Manager, CRM integrations, and modern analytics platforms
  • Experience managing website content strategy and ensuring alignment across SEO, paid, and brand channels
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable strategy
  • Experience in regulated industries such as mortgage, fintech, or financial services preferred
  • Ownership mentality with a bias toward action, speed, and continuous improvement-plan beats no plan
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment where every second counts
