Step into a role where you take the lead in shaping the processes, tools, and procedures that keep Siemens Energy's generator fleet running at peak performance. You'll blend technical expertise with hands-on field support, managing complex R&D projects, driving cost-reduction initiatives, and standardizing practices to enhance operational efficiency. Your work will optimize safety, quality, and scheduling, ensuring every outage is executed flawlessly. From developing training for technicians and engineers on specialized equipment to collaborating with District Service Offices on outage planning, you'll make a direct impact on Siemens Energy's mission to deliver reliable, sustainable energy.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Lead development and refinement of processes, tools, and procedures for generator fleet maintenance plans.
  • Optimize safety, quality, and scheduling for generator outages.
  • Design training criteria for technicians and engineers on specialized tooling and equipment.
  • Support District Service Offices with outage plans and provide on-site technical leadership during peak seasons.
  • Manage complex R&D projects and implement cost savings and standardization efforts across the fleet.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering technology, or related technical field.
  • 3+ years of field service, power generation, or related engineering experience; prior knowledge of Siemens Energy equipment and processes is a plus.
  • Strong skills in process optimization, project management, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent technical writing and verbal communication abilities, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and adaptable to learning new tools.
  • Willing to travel 30% domestically and internationally.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
